Children who are of school age need to have their language, cognitive and motor skills evaluated, as well as their social skills and emotional development. A deficiency in any area can stop progress in other areas, and may cause the child to feel inadequate among their peers due to deficiencies in these areas.
In our center, the Metropolitan Maturity Test is applied to measure the characteristics and achievements of children who will start school in the first grade to ensure that they are prepared to understand the instructions given. In addition, the Academic Skills Readiness Checklist is used to obtain more detailed information.
For children who continue school, their academic skills and social skills are evaluated by taking into account their age period.
