The Denver Developmental Screening Test is a developmental screening test administered to children aged 0-6 years. It is a developmental test used to evaluate some age-appropriate skills of the child, to objectively measure developmentally suspicious situations and to monitor children at risk.

The test evaluates whether the child is developing age-appropriately in areas such as fine motor skills (holding, grasping, squeezing, hand-eye coordination, etc.), gross motor skills (walking, jumping, jumping, running, etc.), language skills (speech-related skills), social skills - self-care skills (self-sufficiency, self-care).

The test is aimed to measure developmental steps and takes 15-20 minutes. The duration of the test can be longer or shorter depending on the situation. The Denver test is considered a developmental test, not an intelligence test. The test can be reapplied 6 months after the test is applied, the test should not be repeated before.
